At first, the DSS denied knowing his whereabouts, but after much pressure, the embattled IPOB leader was arraigned in Abuja magistrate court where his unconditional release was ordered.
Trailed by Federal Government's flouting of court orders, he was again granted bail by a another high court in Abuja, his bail conditions were met, but unfortunately he was yet not released.
Since then, Kanu has faced several charges amidst the heavy drama that played on in his legal team and even the Nigerian judiciary.
